‘Tale’ to return in 2005

Organizers of “A Tale for Three Counties” will begin meeting next month to select and plan an author for next year’s community reading project.

Twenty libraries in Genesee, Orleans and Wyoming counties organized “A Tale for Three Counties,” which just completed its second year with talks and booksignings by author Howard Frank Mosher.

Sponsors of this year’s program include The Daily News, the Arts Council for Wyoming County, the Bank of Castile and Wal-Mart. Additional funding was provided by Friends groups at Arcade Free Library, Corfu Free Library, Lee-Whedon Memorial Library, Medina; Perry Public Library, Richmond Memorial Library, Stevens Community Memorial Library, Attica; and Swan Library, Albion. Other contributions have come from the Nioga Library System, the Pioneer Library System, and the Genesee Valley Board of Cooperative Educational Services School Library System.
