Students were invited to write an essay and win lunch with the author. All GCC students participating in A Tale for Three Counties were eligible.

Students were asked to answer the following question for their essay:
- Explain and discuss the significance of the title, An Unfinished Life, to the story.
First place winner- Nicole Wickham
Second place winner-Carol Pangrazio
Both Nicole and Carol had brunch with Mark Sprague on March 8th at Terry Hills Restaurant. Both had their essays published in the GCC newspapaer the New Courier. Nicole received a $30 gift certificate to Present Tense and Carol received a $15 gift certificate to Main Street Coffee
